My nephew Kyle asked me just yesterday where we’re planning on vacationing this year.  Unfortunately, with gas prices being as high as they are, we probably won’t go far!  We have been trying to find some cheap hotels, inexpensive tourist attractions, etc. He wants to go with us. We’re in Indiana, maybe we’ll take him up to the Children’s Museum in Indianapolis…that’s supposed to be the largest Children’s Museum in the world…..or, we could go to Conner Prairie..it’s a real working, living history museum..it’s outdoors and is a wonderful place to visit. It’s located in Fishers, IN

Either way…they’re closer than we usually travel, so will be easier on the gas tank! ;-)

We have been trying to decide where (and even when) we want to go on vacation this year.  Last year we went to Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa.  The year before we went to Amish Country in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Washington DC and New Jersey.

We don’t have to go to quite so many states all in one trip…but we would like it to be fun and to a State at least one member of the family hasn’t been to yet.  So…we’re thinking about Georgia and South Carolina…or even a cruise!

So..I’ve been searching all over the internet for travel deals. We like to save money when we can, so I always try to buy tickets to attractions, parks, etc. early when I can *usually* get them at a discount.

So..which should we do? Georgia’s historic Savannah and South Carolina’s historic Charleston…or take the kids on a cruise? Which would you do?
Let me know what you think!
