My mom recently went on a trip to the Outer Banks. She loved it there. She takes a lot of trips, and she deserves it. She is getting ready to retire…finally. She loves traveling with her sister.
She enjoys visiting lighthouses most of all. She is a photographer and has some of the most amazing shots of lighthouses..and boats out on the ocean…breathtaking!
She has went on trips with us, also. We went to Washington, DC one year…another time we went to Amish Country in Pennsylvania….I love that place! So peaceful and quiet! If we get an RV that will be one of the first places we go.
I used to think I would actually enjoy a trip to Las Vegas. I’m sure now that I probably wouldn’t. I love history…old history…like the history of this Country…I don’t like gambling or shows.
But…there are many who would enjoy Vegas and all it has to offer. You need to find a way to get there, hotels in las vegas, transportation while you’re there and, of course, a way to get home!
So go…have fun in Vegas and don’t worry about me! I’ll stick to my trips to Washington, DC, Alabama, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Oklahoma…etc…etc..etc…

Well….we weren’t going to go on vacation this year, but now we’re thinking about going to Georgia. We have considered looking in some of the travel guides…but so far we haven’t taken the time. I have been to Georgia before…a few times. I pretty much know where I want to go, and what I want to see. I would love to go to Savannah…it’s so beautiful there. I’ve been to Atlanta…nothing there for me, but Savannah would be wonderful! I’ve been to Augusta, also…no, I didn’t go for the golf, I was there for other reasons. 
It’s ok, but really nothing to write home about.
Another place I would like to go is Charleston, SC. That place is beautiful, also.
Maybe at the end of July we’ll go…that sure sounds wonderful! I love going on vacation!
Speaking of vacation…my mom is, again, going away on a trip. She is looking for some new luggage and we have been searching on-line for something good and strong. We found Rimowa and it looks pretty good.
My mom so deserves the trips…she worked hard all her life and is finally just about to retire…and the trips are nice. She is even looking in to buying an RV! That will be so cool! I say she needs to be sure to buy one large enough to fit her daughter, son-in-law and 4 of her grandchildren! (I don’t see that happening, though….LOL)
well..it seems like I’m never going to stop itching! Just when I think it’s going away I find new spots starting up again. :-( I haven’t went anywhere near the *stuff* since I was first exposed (read previous article here about my poison sumac episode!) so I don’t know why it won’t go away!
I want to go on vacation..maybe stay on a boat or in a condo hotel or, hey! I heard about this lighthouse that you can rent for family vacations! Maybe I’ll check in to something like that…..too bad I can’t leave my itchies at home!
