Some people feel they need to diet…sometimes those people who feel that way really don’t need to diet. I remember one girl back in school who weighed no more than 95 pounds…and she complained all the time about how fat she was..

Girls are under so much pressure to be thin…they should only be concerned with being healthy. A diet pill isn’t going to be the answer for everyone….

Please teach your girls that they’re beautiful…they don’t need to lose weight to be gorgeous…they need only be healthy to be happy!

Dieting can be unhealthy for most people…instead, a lifestyle change is better. Gradually reducing and eliminating sugar from your diet is the best thing you can do for your body. Begin by replacing one soft drink per day with water.
Please remember…your weight isn’t as important as your health…Lose weight responsibly…eat a well balanced diet and eliminate sugars.

My husband is trying to lose weight.  I have been making his meals for him to take to work (breakfast and lunch) and I’ve been very careful to keep his calories down.  He lost 30 pounds in the first seven weeks!  All without the help of weight loss pills! It has now occured to me…when he tells people that his wife has helped him to lose all of this weight, they’re going to wonder why I didn’t do it for myself! So…here I go attempting to lose weight.

My problem is that I don’t move as much as I used to. When my kids were little I was always moving, chasing one or more of them, playing with them, etc. Now, they’re all older, my youngest is nine but she doesn’t need chased like they used to. I am going to start walking. Maybe I’ll see if I can put together a walking club at church and use our gym.

Losing Weight is always difficult…it just comes easier to some people, though.

Take my neighbor, for instance…she decided she needed to lose about ten pounds….two months later she lost 30. Makes me sick. :-(

lose weight the healthy way…eat right, exercise and watch your calories. Fad diets don’t work…they may seem to work at first, but you’ll pay for it in the long run.

Be sure and take a multi-vitamin any time you’re trying to lose weight. Most people mess up a bit while dieting and miss out on a few important nutrients…
