Dee’s Journey

When we moved in to the house we live in, we found that there was asbestos in the basement.  It’s hard to believe no one had noticed it at any point in time.  There had been people in and out of that basement putting in ductwork, furnace, water heaters, etc…..some people are blind or don’t care…probably more tha latter.

I’ve heard all about the problems that can happen to people exposed to asbestos.  If you know of someone needing help send them to mesothelioma help.

You know…I remember my grandma had asbestos shingles on her house…is that the same thing? I can remember leaning on the house, playing next to it…hmmmmm…

Sometimes people get hurt…sometimes it’s an accident, sometimes it isn’t.  Sometimes you feel like someone should pay for what happened to you, other times you see it for what it was…just an accident, no ones fault.

If you feel someone should compensate you, you need to make sure you get the right attorney.  One who will be there to answer your questions, one who won’t send you to their paralegal or legal secretary every time you call…one that is experienced in your injury.

We have a large, boring lawn.  We need at least a little going on out there…but we only have a well.  True, it’s the original well to the house….it was actually used to get water for the occupants…which is kinda cool…but that’s all we have out there!  I need something…like outdoor furniture, a fire pit, a koi pond…something. I do also have the original pond to the house out there….but it’s all dried up and it leaks. I can fix that up and add some water plants…that may be nice.

I have a friend who owns some land with a creek…maybe we can go get some creek rock and place it around the pond…that would be nice…

The only problem with all this dreaming of fixing up the yard is…we want to move…we *really* want to move! Maybe I should fix up the yard to make the house look nicer…so we can sell it for more!

Looks like my laptop is in need of an upgrade..it isn’t running as fast..I’m having a hard time multi-tasking…etc..etc…maybe laptop memory is what I need…

And I just got this thing about two months ago…it’s strange, the instant you take your laptop home it’s outdated…horrible.

Maybe next time I’ll have a laptop built for me…one that’s a little ahead of the current market…maybe then it won’t be outdated..

Speaking of vacation…my mom is, again, going away on a trip.  She is looking for some new luggage and we have been searching on-line for something good and strong.  We found Rimowa and it looks pretty good.

My mom so deserves the trips…she worked hard all her life and is finally just about to retire…and the trips are nice. She is even looking in to buying an RV! That will be so cool! I say she needs to be sure to buy one large enough to fit her daughter, son-in-law and 4 of her grandchildren! (I don’t see that happening, though….LOL)
