A lot has been going on in our lives lately. Since October we have had a couple of illnesses, 6 deaths of friends and relatives, 2 of our cats died, a windstorm messed up our roof and took out our lights and cable for two weeks not to mention it caused a large limb to fall on my sons car.

This has kept me away from almost everything on the internet, including my wonderful blog! :-( Won’t happen again if I can help it!

About my sons car, did you know that most homeowners won’t cover a limb falling on your own car?! They say that falls under your auto insurance.

Too bad we had only liability…that little car was nice. :-(

Having a good day…

Today has been a pretty ok day. I have gotten quite a bit done, including cleaning the house, updating my websites and checking my facebook page. Some days go that way…others, not so much.

A few days ago I walked in to my kitchen and the dog had left a little present in the middle of the floor. After cleaning that up, I went to the dining room to find that someone had left a glass of milk out and the cat had knocked it over. Milk was all over the table, including the lace runner.

Days like today I like to sit back and enjoy. They come around more often than not, thank goodness, but it’s nice to slow down and enjoy the ride once in a while!

Cars, Trucks, RV’s

We are looking for a new car…we aren’t sure what to get..but we know it needs to be a smaller, gas saver. We have a big car now, and a truck…so we def. need something a little easier on gas…sheesh, gas is way too expensive right now!

We also would kinda like to get an RV….we love to travel and an RV would save a lot of hotel money!

Do you think we should get an RV? Do you have one and can offer us a little advice on buying one? What size should we get for 6 people?

When getting any of these, we will also need to think about getting a car insurance quote…or RV insurance quote….

I love t-shirts. Anywhere I go I have to buy a t-shirt reminding me of where I’ve been. I have at least one for every state I’ve been in. I have t-shirts from high school, from the Smithsonian, from St. Louis and Louisville. I have funny t shirts, plain t-shirts and boring t-shirts.

You name it, I have it or have had it…or probably will have it in the future. :-)

You know those t-shirts that say “someone visited (insert place name here) and all I got was this stinking shirt”? Well, I have plenty of those, too.

The one thing everyone knows they can get me is a t-shirt….what’s even better is if it’s a one of a kind…put a picture of my kids on a t-shirt and I’ll love you forever! Also, my cats…a picture of my sweet kitty cats on my t-shirt will make my day!
