Tomorrow is Mothers Day and I’ve already been given some of my presents. :-) Laikyn made me a card with a very sweet poem that she wrote. It made me cry. :-) Kailyn gave me a digital photo keychain, my dad gave me a webkinz turtle :-), my mom sent me a card and Josh got me a pair of Bolle sun glasses.
It’s a good Mothers Day already…and it doesn’t start until tomorrow!
The kids have been begging me to take them geocaching. I’ve heard a lot about it, I’ve read up on it and it does seem quite interesting and extremely fun.
People and organizations all over the world have put these caches in different places for others to find and will give you the coordinates to that cache. You would use your gps to find them. Seem easy? Well, it’s one thing to find it, it’s another to actually get to it. That’s part of the fun.
The only problem with us doing this is that I don’t have a gps.
I found where Buy.com has a great Garmin StreetPilot c550 GPS Navigation System w/ Bluetooth. This is such a great price I’m considering buying two, one for me and one for my husband. This would be really nice for our annual road trips, also. We like to go on a road trip at least once each year…usually we aren’t sure where we’re going until just a few weeks before we go. Many times, while we’re on the trip we’ll decide to go to another destination. Just last year we went to Oklahoma, Missouri and Kansas. While there, we decided to check out Iowa and Nebraska as well. I can think of a few times it would have been nice to have one of these with us!
You can also check out Buy.com’s Weekly Deals for awesome specials on other great products.
Well, Christmas is long over, but we do have birthdays throughout the year. My youngest just had a birthday last month and we have another childs birthday coming up in July. We’re in the middle of the longest stretch with having to buy toys for someones birthday or other holiday. This is the time when we should be able to put back more money than usual…but it doesn’t seem to work out that way. There is always something else to buy, repair, replace, etc.
But, this is better than the alternative. The alternative being never having had children or them growing up and moving out. I’ll let them take their own sweet time with it.
My youngest daughter still has enough of that babyish cuteness to make her extremely cute. (not that the other children aren’t, or that she won’t be in a couple of years, but that *baby* in a child is it’s own kind of adorable)
She was asking about the Payday candy bar…and the way she says “Payday” is really sweet. So much so that my oldest son had her saying over and over and over again!
Payday, Payday, Payday, Payday, Payday, Payday!
Later Gator!

It seems everyone is blogging these days. Go anywhere on-line and you’ll find links to someones blog. What are they blogging about? Everything. You name it, there’s a blog for it. Here are a few examples:
1. Pet Monologue - all about animals
2. Colts Gab - I love the Colts!
3. LOLDogs - Pictures of adorable dogs
4. A Place to Land - A Christian, Homeschool moms blog
These are just a few of the many blogs I’ve seen in the past few weeks. If you have a passion, do a google search and you’re sure to find a blog for it.
As for me? Well, this blog will just be a little glimpse into our crazy world…have fun, enjoy, and remember to take a break now and then and go play with your children! ;-)
See ya round like a donut!
