Years ago, my grandmother was a TB patient. She was sent to a place called Waverly Hills to be treated. This was back in the late 50′s. Now, many claim the building is haunted. My grandmother doesn’t like to hear that it’s haunted and doesn’t believe it for a second.

Life has been so hectic and off the wall lately..I’ve had no time for my own personal genealogy. I have done a few look-ups here and there for others, but my own has been lacking.
Today I made a decision to get my genealogy back out and get busy again…even if only a small amount, I will pull out the old paperwork, dust off my Family Tree Maker and Ancestry account and get back at it.

My dad has an iroc…very pretty car…it’s a 1986, red and it’s beautiful! I would love to have it, if for nothing else but to fix it up and show it. It’s very nice. My son wants it, of course…what 15 year old wouldn’t? I told him no….I want it too bad! 
I would love to own a 57 chevy…beautiful!!! or a ’29 Ford Model A…..I love old cars and would love to have one to show…maybe some day I will…no, I’m sure I will some day! I can’t afford it right now..but I will eventually!

As most of you know, I am hopelessly addicted to genealogy…and blogging…and homeschool *stuff*. I sometimes wish they had a drug rehab for my addictions…of course, then it wouldn’t be a drug rehab…it would be a genealogy rehab, or a blog rehab, or a homeschool stuff rehab.
Do I really need rehab or should I just allow my addictions to overtake me? I don’t believe genealogy can be bad, unless you begin to spend too much money and your family goes without food because you have no money left to buy groceries…ok, genealogy can get too addictive. Luckily, I’m not at that point. Now…my homeschool stuff addiction has gotten pretty bad in the past..especially before I found our current curriculum (Weaver Curriculum). Before, I would spend all sorts of time and money searching for what to do next…now I dont’ worry about it anymore. I just plan ahead using Weaver and everything works out great! 
Taking a genealogy vacation doesn’t count against me….does it?
Do you golf? I just don’t get it. I don’t understand what the fascination is with this sport. I have no problem with others who play, I just don’t understand how it can be so exciting to so many. My father-in-law loves the game, my husband is ok with it but he could take it or leave it. I have other family members who play but I still just don’t get it.
I usually try to buy something golf related for family members who love the sport. There are a lot of cute little trinkets for the golfer. I could also buy golf equipment if I knew what to buy.
I don’t know…I think I’ll just stick to the birdies in my yard.
