I love animals. Animals are so cool….cats are my favorite, followed closely by dogs and birds….
I have a pet cockateil named Willy. His full name is Wilford Brimley…because he looks just like the man by the same name when he gets his feathers ruffled. ![]()
We also have cats, four of them. Shadow has been with us the longest and is the one we’d keep if we could only keep one…and according to my husband that’s the case…of course that’s been the case for years…
Our other cats are Midnight, Frosty and Smoky.
And then there is our dog Elvis. Yes, he is named after the singer Elvis Presley. Our dog was born on Elvis’ birthday so he was given the name Elvis by the owner before us. He’s a pomeranian and he runs the house. ![]()

We have 7 pets: one dog, one bird and 5 cats. We know about the need for pet supplies.
Each week we go through a large 30 pound bag of cat litter, a 20 pound bag of cat food, a small bag of dog food and about half of a container of bird food (not to mention the veggies and fruits my birdy likes to eat).
Then you have toys, cages, food dishes, etc. Our animals are treated every month for fleas/ ticks/ etc….etc…
It is expensive to care for pets, but it isn’t impossible. If you are having trouble taking care of your pet please go to your local humane society and ask for help. Tell them you don’t want to give up your pet but you’re having problems taking care of them. They will be able to either help you or send you to someone who can.
Love your pets!
We have 5 cats, a dog and a bird….up until last week, we had six cats. Our sweet little kitty piggies died. We miss her a lot…and wish we would have noticed the problems earlier…hindsight is 20/20, as they say.
CAT6 and Dog6 are great animals…we couldn’t imagine our lives without them. The kids have asked me if animals go to heaven…that’s a debatable topic…so many people believe that they don’t…and that they don’t have a soul…I disagree. There is a real little mind and thought process in there that just wouldn’t be there in a being that has no soul. Animals love …..and that takes a soul..besides, could you imagine Heaven without animals? I can’t…and I don’t believe God would give us something so beautiful here on earth and not have them waiting for us when we get to Heaven.
I’ve always loved horses. I haven’t been able to get around them as much as I would have liked and I do regret that. I love searching on-line for all of their supplies and things…just to see what I * would have * bought had I owned a horse!
saddles are one of my favorite things to look at. There are so many different styles one could never grow tired of browsing!
I guess someday I still may get a horse…but first I need to get out of town! I would love to have a large ranch with a lot of acres…fenced, of course. I want a barn or two, a creek…too bad I’ve never been able to find this in our price range!
I’ve always loved animals. From the time I was barely walking I’ve had a passion for helping and taking in all creatures walking on four legs. I currently have six cats, one dog and even a bird! (yes, I’ve moved to the feathered variety!)
I became a vegetarian about a year and a half ago…it was the best thing I could do for myself and the animals that I love!
I have always wanted to do something for the animals…and I just found this great ring.
I absolutely adore this ring! The little paw prints remind me of my dogs little prints that he leaves on the floor right after a bath! hehe. The ring is sterling silver.
You can help the animals by purchasing one of these rings from me! For every ring I sell, I’ll give $2 to my local no-kill shelter! These rings come in any size between 6-12. Please specify your size when ordering.
