For quite a long time now, I’ve wanted to get out and see the world from a little class C RV. I want to be able to just decide I want to see something or some place and go do it.

We’re working on it, and I’m trying to save the money for it. My children are still young enough to enjoy it, but old enough to help. We homeschool, so it will be a wonderful learning experience for them.

We have found some RV’s, and have decided that we can make do with a used RV valued at around $7,000-$8,000. The only problem is being able to save that money without touching our necessary savings. Any suggestions from anyone out there?!

Crocheting and Knitting

I have been crocheting for a very long time. I love it…I wish I was better at it, but that’s ok..I just enjoy doing it.

Today we had a meeting at our church for the prayer shawl ministry. I really think it will be a blessing for those we create these shawls and blankets for as well as for us.

I am working on a crochet project now, but have wanted to learn to knit for quit some time. Today I went to the store and bought a neat little kit called I Taught Myself Knitting. I opened it and pulled out the book and knitting needles. Within five minutes I was ready to pitch the needles and book out the back door! Maybe I should stick to crocheting!
