I just got a new laptop…it’s pretty decent, but Vista is horrible. Programs that should work fine are crashing halfway through using it, games aren’t working properly….it feels like there is very little ram sometimes. Everything takes so long to open…sheesh. Sometimes I feel like throwing it out the window!! 
Actually I wouldn’t…I can’t afford to throw that much money out the window!
If anyone has suggestions for me on my Vista problems please get in touch with me…it’s driving me crazy!
Hi Dee! Many have complained about your problem. You have to go into the start-up programs and just run what you need. I know if you google it, you will get a lot of hits on how to. It is a common problem, the ram hogging. I have managed to get all of my programs but one to run. Pogo games need a different kind of java. I decided to not change that. I lost use of my scanner. It was old and discontinued. So it was probably time to get a new one anyway. Program Compatibility Wizard is made just to make old programs run. Instructions are in Help and Support. Anything that ran on XP should run on Vista.
